Thanks a lot.
Tags: bike parking, Home Depot
Such an easy target. I can’t remember when I’ve ever seen bike racks at a Home Depot that were well placed and free of obstacles so that they could be easily used. Too many Home Depots don’t even have bike racks. On the eastern edge of Oak Lawn, we’ve got different worlds for bike parking – a Home Depot at 95th & Pulaski that has no bike parking (where bikes get locked to small trees or shopping cart cages) and the Target just west of it on 95th (which provides bike parking at the north entrance of the building), where Keeler offers good bike access.
Target is extremely consistent in their quality, quantity, and placement. I was in Tinley Park and I wasn’t surprised (but my colleagues were) that the Target in a major strip mall had bike parking. Not that anyone would bike there, but I’m glad they did it.
